SWD Club Breeder Referral ListThe Spanish Water Dog Club, Inc. does not recommend or endorse breeders, kennels or dogs. The SWD Club does not supervise or guarantee the breeding practices of any breeders. The Breeders listed are members of the Spanish Water Dog Club, Inc. in good standing. Each has paid a fee to be on the list and has signed an agreement. A copy of the agreement is included for your information. You, the buyer, are solely responsible for your choice of breeder. Any contract you enter into is solely between you and the breeder. The Spanish Water Dog is a rustic and very active breed. It is not the right breed for everyone. You need to be able to make informed decisions concerning the purchase of any dog. Contact several breeders on this list before you acquire a Spanish Water Dog. Your discussions should include pedigrees, health, temperament, price, registration, written guarantees and contracts. Please note: The SWD Club, Inc. strongly recommends that any dog used for breeding be at least two years old, be evaluated for hip dysplasia, and have an annual CERF test to determine overall eye health.
